Photograph recommendations

• One picture at a time should be planned
• Loose photos are best; take pictures out of photo albums and frames if possible
• Grouping photos by using envelopes can help
• Planning on chronological order (oldest photos first, most recent last) is best
• Every picture should be numbered on the back - One sequence, from 1 to let's say 82, should be used
• You can skip numbers if you anticipate adding photos before you are done
• When numbering pictures it is safest to use stick on notes on the back - Ink on back of the photo itself can rub off on the face of the next photo - ruining it
• Title pages already on paper are the same as a photo, they should get a number in the sequence too
• Title pages created in our studio are additional
• Title page can also be created by children; use landscape orientation - wider than higher

Music recommendations

• Print out the Suggested Songs & Song Lyrics pages
• The music compliments the project when the photo pace is 8 to 9 pictures a minute
• The "# of photos" column will help you pace the music in the project
• Music is included at no additional cost as long as entire songs are used
• Using partial songs requires special editing and can add $50 or more to the project

Overall

• When possible plan on making the appointment about 4 weeks before your "need date"
• If the situation is immediate, projects can be completed within a day or two
• If a DVD is planned, decide where/at what photos, you want the chapters mark to jump too
• We have included 30 minutes to discuss the project at our appointment, songs, etc
• Any time beyond that maybe subject to an additional consultation fee
• Come prepared with songs chosen and pictures numbered; call with questions beforehand
• Expect to pay about a 25% deposit when you bring in your photos and any music
• Upon completion of the finished videos you will sit down and watch it in its entirety
